The Foundation of Our Sustainability Strategy
Environment, one of the key elements of the concept of sustainability, is a fundamental part of our company policy and strategies. We make intensive efforts in areas such as conservation of natural resources, reduction of pollution, and optimization of waste management.
We use the "Life Cycle Assessment" (LCA) approach to monitor the environmental impacts of our products and transparently convey information to stakeholders. We also provide internationally valid Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for our automation solutions.
Emissions
With our strategy to leave a more sustainable world for future generations, we aim to neutralize carbon emissions from our business operations, use green energy sources, and reduce our 'Scope 3' emissions through supply chain analysis and collaboration. We also organize sustainability trainings and awareness programs for our employees to raise community awareness in combating climate change. By adopting the ISO 14064 standard, we measure and evaluate our greenhouse gas emissions.
Waste Management
In line with our sustainability goals and ISO 14001 standard, we aim to reduce resource consumption and minimize environmental impacts. We ensure that domestic, industrial, hazardous/non-hazardous wastes from our production activities are properly separated at source, reused when possible, stored as required by legislation, and disposed of by licensed recycling companies.
Biodiversity
We aim to increase our positive impact on ecosystems and eliminate any harm that threatens biodiversity, in order to understand and protect this valuable diversity of nature. Not just a business, but as an organization with environmental responsibility, we aim to create a culture of biodiversity conservation within the company and organize regular training programs.
Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is at the center of our corporate culture, and we continuously develop solutions in this direction. Guided by the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, we aim to effectively monitor and reduce energy consumption. While optimizing energy use, we aim to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Water Management
At AstraCore Automation, we aim to protect water resources for future generations based on the principles of environmental sustainability, economic efficiency, and social justice through water management. Accordingly, we carry out continuous improvement efforts for the effective use of water resources, protection of water quality, and controlled treatment of wastewater resulting from our operations.
